"Oh? About me?"

Well, Hi my name is Coco, I'm a 22 year old artist and writer.
-
Currently I'm trying to get more professional jobs as a Storyboarder or concept artist while working on my own personal projects.
-
The Program I use for my work is Clip Studio.

"My Portfolio?"

Oh! well I actually have 2, one for my more professional work and one to story all my personal artwork.
-
My Professional Portfolio will be more organized, with clear labeling for each project/what is being shown.
-
My Personal Portfolio will also have Labeling but more so just putting drawings that are the same thing next to each other rather than separating them by project.

"My Commissons?"

I mainly take commissions through Vgen, I find it really helpful with organizing my prices
-
I also sell adopts on there, as well as on my Toyhouse.
-
My Commissons are Currently: OPEN

"Projects?"

Oh! right, well I have a lot of more personal projects that I tend to try and keep to myself until I feel like that are "ready" enough to be shown off.
-
BUT, if you want to see the whole process for their creation and development then You can look through their respective folders to get a more behind the scenes look at my work, as well as how I think when it comes to personal projects.

A Girl Like Me is a Visual Novel style portfolio/passion project I am leading.
-
This page will go through all stages of its development including, character designs, backgrounds, cinematics, as well as story changes over time.

First Pitch

The First concept for the girls came after I watched a video in 2025 called "How to Make a Furry Visual Novel in 30 DAYS" by Boring Keith. The video was not only a nice insight into the creation of Visual novels, but it also connected with me on a much deeper level.
-
I myself as a Queer person, especially a lesbian, am no stranger to the fact that queer women and lesbians are not often represented in a lot of media. The Furry community is not much different in that regard, like in normal society, which is widely geared towards men, the queer community is also heavily in favor of queer and gay men rather than women. So, I took the advice from that video, and I decided I wanted to see myself and other people I know more represented in the space of furry visual novels.

Anyway, this is the first concept and then cleaned up designs of the girls. I knew from the start I wanted 1 POV character and an even number of dateable/main characters, so I went with 4. This felt like a good number since I thought like I could represent a good number of identities while not making it too overwhelming for myself
-
I also knew I wanted all of them to be animals that can be found In California since they would be more familiar to me.
